Update 03.05.2026 — Public Pages, Proposals, Contracts, Design

Public pages now support files, forms and unique addresses; proposals, contracts and design have been improved. Several UX enhancements and steps toward team collaboration.

Time flies. I sometimes feel like I’m moving as slowly as a turtle, but in reality that’s not the case.

I continue to refine public pages:

  • You can now attach files and images to them
  • They can have unique addresses (for now on the normcrm subdomain)
  • I made a section for collecting submissions from public pages (and elsewhere)
  • I implemented forms on public pages and built a simple form builder
  • Added the ability to enable or disable search engine indexing
  • Created user agreements and other public documents for public pages
  • Public pages now generate a full AI instruction based on all objects linked to them
  • As you probably guessed, public pages can now use not only CSS and HTML, but also JS

I finished the commercial proposals section:

  • Proposals can be downloaded not only as PDF, but also as DOCX
  • There is a short text version of a proposal for sending via messengers
  • Linked proposals with contracts and projects

Contracts:

  • Added support for hourly billing and period-based billing
  • Prepared new calculation modes in contract statistics for hourly rates or total work cost according to these updates

Besides that:

  • Updated the design of everything related to login, registration, password recovery and related areas
  • Restyled form fields :)
  • Created a new design for publications: https://normcrm.ru/ru/blog/
  • Added the ability to attach hints to any pages and elements. The feature is ready; filling it with content is a separate question
  • Reworked the light theme palette so it’s no longer beige but cooler-toned
  • Increased the site width on desktop
  • Pinned the action bar above objects so you don’t have to scroll back and forth
  • Added a VK field to contacts
  • Designed new tabs for tabbed sections
  • Improved the logic of object pickers (whatever that means to you :) )
  • Implemented two types of reminders: at an exact date and time, and relative to an event (very handy for meetings)
  • Disabled the ability for free users to work with public pages and forms
  • For completed tasks we now show time spent instead of deadlines (if time was recorded)
  • In lists of past meetings we now show only participants who actually attended

Where am I headed? Public profiles for freelancers: a place to tell about yourself, showcase portfolio work and reviews, offer services or book consultations. And on the backend of that public presence sits the full power of Norm CRM.

I’m also seriously considering gradually moving projects (as Norm CRM entities) toward team collaboration—allowing invitations to projects and working together.
