March 21, 2026 Update — Services and LinkedIn

Working with projects, tasks and scheduling meetings, I often provide services. For example, during a meeting I may offer a consultation or gather functional requirements. Tasks go without saying. So I added a new entity — Services — and the ability to link them to tasks and meetings. Later, using these links they can be associated with contracts and projects and used to calculate useful metrics, such as the hourly rate for a particular service.

What’s included

  • Added a services list, a service card and a create/edit page;
  • You can specify a minimum hourly rate and a minimum fixed price for a service;
  • Added the ability to attach services to tasks and meetings;
  • Added a new contact field — LinkedIn. A friend who uses NormCRM asked for it, so I implemented it. You can also request additions that fit your workflow — I especially enjoy taking on such tasks.

In the future I will allow attaching images to services and publishing them on a user's NormCRM profile page. For now, I'm moving on to developing invoices and reminders.
