Update 25.02.2026 — tags and recurring payments

I've always wanted to know how much I spend per year, per month, per day on recurring things: subscriptions, utilities, rent, maintenance, and so on. Take, for example, insurance contributions for a sole proprietor. This year — 57 390 rubles. Whether you earned anything or not doesn't matter — you have to pay. That's 4 782 rubles per month. Or 157 rubles per day.

So I went ahead and added a tool to NormCRM called "Recurring payments tracking".

  • Manage a list of recurring payments
  • Free-form frequency
  • Support for multiple currencies
  • Split into mandatory and optional payments
  • Ability to specify a payment category in free form
  • Information for each payment (how much per year, per month, per day)
  • Summary information for all payments

Overall I'm a bit disappointed. The section is fun, everything works great. And yes, now I know how much I spend on recurring payments (and I'm gradually adding payments to the list as I randomly remember them; for example: a Telegram Premium account or SMS notifications for a bank card). But I don't know what to do next with this information. Apparently the section's potential isn't very large. At most I'll add notifications about upcoming charges and then freeze it until NormCRM gets a full financial accounting system.

Also added tags for contacts. I immediately got friends, colleagues, clients, potential clients, client employees, acquaintances, and so on. That's convenient and useful, no questions.
