Update 15 Feb 2026 — stats adjustment and image viewer in posts

Yesterday I sat down to a big task that I estimated would take at least 20 hours. I started the time tracker, worked, stopped the time tracker. Then I realized that the daily statistics I like to check hadn’t changed in terms of hours. The reason was that the statistics only counted hours spent on tasks with the status "completed." Tasks that were "in progress" were not included.

So I changed that logic. Now, if a task has time-tracker entries, those entries are considered the source of truth; only if there are none will the system fall back to other data.

That means the stats can now show "Tasks completed: 0" while the time shown in parentheses reflects the actual hours spent on the work.

A second small update: in blog posts you can now view images like on Pikabu — click them, zoom in, close, and so on.

For example, take a look at the photo generated by a neural network based on a frame from a phone. That’s your unruly servant in a flattering angle.
