This week I made meeting planning, review handling, and publications more convenient. I also continued working on site creation and data protection.
What's changed:
- Easier to spot scheduling conflicts. When scheduling a meeting, Norm CRM will warn if one of the participants is already busy at that time. The decision remains yours: you can save the meeting even with an overlap.
- Easier to choose date and time. I updated the calendar: previously there was a temptation to type date and time directly into the date-picker field. To remove that temptation, I moved date and time selection into a separate modal window.
- You can request a client's permission to publish a review. In the card you can see whether permission was granted and not later revoked. Permission is saved specifically for the text the client saw when approving it. The review text can now be formatted.
- Tidied up the "Publications" section. The list is more compact, and links and dates are easier to edit. Platforms for publishing materials can be ordered as needed and moved to the archive. Removing a platform does not delete the publications themselves.
Creating a site became easier. Settings, selection of services, works and reviews, and connecting the request form are now gathered into three sequential steps. I added collapsible questions and answers, new service layout options, and the ability to change headings directly on the page. I sped up the editor and improved the preview before publishing. The builder is currently available to a limited group of users.
Strengthened protection of personal data, files and forms from spam. I additionally protected backups and verified that their data can be restored. I also started gradually defending against DDoS attacks.
I also added six personal stories to the homepage about the work problems I solve with Norm CRM — in Russian and English.
