A birthday is one of the most important occasions for anyone. People remember those who congratulate them, especially if it's not a one-off but a long-term effort. After three to five years of regular greetings, the birthday people often start taking interest in your birthday and begin congratulating you back.
For a freelancer, a client's birthday is a free opportunity to remind them of you in a positive way.
Because of that, NormCRM now has a feature for recording contacts' birthdays.
And I, for example, have already started slowly moving birthdays there not only for clients but also for family and close friends. After all, it's my own, familiar service :)
- You can set a birthday on the contact edit page;
- You can specify the date with or without the year. In the second case the client's age will be shown;
- A new block has appeared on the dashboard: "Celebrating birthdays". It shows a list of people with birthdays in the next three days.
Sometime in the future I'll add birthday reminders by email.
